I love this day more than I love my birthday!!! I hope you're all enjoying it--even the weather this morning was foggy and gloomy--perfect!
Unfortunately, our evening consisted of a trip to the 4th & King Caltrain station to get AC's monthly train and parking pass [they ran out of the latter, so he has to go back tomorrow]. We grabbed Subway meals and got right back on the train to head home. We saw someone dressed as Jason at the Hillsdale stop, so that was a highlight for me. [I'm trying to find the "Halloween" ringtone...I heard it at Barnes & Noble yesterday!] However, I did have a highlight to my day: one of my bosses gave me a book from the Mutter Museum in Philadelphia! It's so gross! It's awesome! It's got photos of stuff like the skeleton of twins conjoined at the head; a wound with thick pus coming out of it...COOL!!!!
Saturday we went to a Halloween party thrown by our friends. I really didn't want to go, with the theme being "Pimps and Goddesses" and one of the hostesses saying she was going to be skanky. But AC wanted to see his friends, so off we went. With USC fans in attendance, AC's costume was Jim Harbaugh, the Stanford coach, complete with t-shirt that I got him that says "Biggest. Upset. Ever." celebrating Stanford's win over USC. There were two chick magnets [a big plush magnet around the neck with little chicks stuck to it--and coincidentally, worn by the host and his brother who'd driven in from Modesto!]. But the one that took the cake, and not in a good way, was the cowboy:
