Time

A brief interruption from my tales of the west to bring you a message about a wonderful company.

In late August, we attended the Boston Green Fest.  As the name suggests, the festival had vendors promoting green living.  I was delighted that one of the vendors was Sprout Watches, which I'd learned of from Nordstrom last year.  The exhibitors had brought a nice variety of watches, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable, so big AC bought me a simple, black, organic cotton watch.  To my disappointment, the second loop on the band (the strap keeper, if you will) broke off when we were in Southern California--about a month and a half after I'd gotten it!

I'd been meaning to either glue or sew it back on, until I decided to check with the company on how to do so.  I emailed their customer service department this morning, and AN HOUR AND TEN MINUTES LATER, I'd received a message saying that they were sending me a complimentary replacement strap! The message, from a manager, was so down to earth that I couldn't believe it.  So if you're in the market for a new, eco-friendly watch, or simply want to add to your timekeeper collection, please check them out.  (I'm in love with this model, especially because of the conflict-free diamonds, but the bracelet is too big for my wrist. :( )
