Rock You Like a Hurricane

I have so many blog posts in my head! I promise I'll update soon. Nothing major; mainly more funny peeks into the lives of neighbors and my mom's visit.

So we are hunkering down for what seems to be our yearly hurricane watch. We are only supposed to get very strong (45-60mph) winds and 3-5" of rain, so we shall see what transpires. But to really rock you, here's an interesting bit:

I applied to a job back on The Farm, and big AC is going to apply to a job in South City.

I found the job when I was looking in the staff classifieds for housing for our upcoming trip. And big AC saw the posting in South City on a listserv. Lately he's experienced some frustration with the culture and lack of challenges, so that's why he wants to apply. So we shall see! Keep it on the DL, as we don't want to get hopes up, 'k? ;)
